Getting A Quote

Regent Gas supplies gas to the industrial and commercial sector, which range from large PLC companies to small businesses, like restaurants, pubs, nursing homes, etc. We can supply to anywhere throughout the UK, for any volume of gas consumption.

We regret we cannot supply gas to domestic households. We supply only natural gas at the moment, not Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Propane or Butane), nor Liquefied Natural Gas nor Bottled Gas.

Our quotation for supply of gas, is based on four main considerations:

• The amount of gas you are likely to use,
• The costs of transporting the gas,
• The costs of metering the gas,
• Our administration costs.

Issues affecting the cost of these four are as follows:

• Gas: though the price of gas fluctuates every day, once we agree a contract with you, your gas price will not change during the contract period.
• Transportation: these costs are set by the National Grid with the approval of OFGEM (Office of Gas and Electricity Markets). Costs are fixed during the term of the contract, but we do reserve the right to pass on any significant price increases should the Transporters raise their costs in an Ofgem approved rise. Whether you choose us as your supplier, or someone else, Transportation charges should be the same.
• Metering: Gas Meters are owned by Meter Asset Managers and they charge rent to us, which is then added to our quotation.
• Administration: we believe we are one of the cheapest gas suppliers on the market, as our administrative costs are one of the lowest in the gas industry.
